TWO GREAT SUMMER CAMPS: CATALINA SEA CAMP & ASTROCAMP
We offer two California enrichment science and adventure summer camps in California: Catalina Sea Camp on Catalina Island at Toyon Bay, Astrocamp Summer Mission in the San Jacinto Mountains near the town of Idyllwild. Both of our California summer camps are a short drive from Los Angeles, California.

CaliforniaSummerCamps.org is hosted by Guided Discoveries a California educational nonprofit corporation specializing in enrichment science and adventure summer camps in California for kids and teens and outdoor education, also known as outdoor science school, for public and private schools. Guided Discoveries administrative office is located in Claremont California. We are experts in educational and adventure summer camps with over 33 years experience serving over 45,000 children a year in our outdoor education school programs and public overnight summer camps. We are a member of WAIC-the Western Association of Independent Camps and ACA - the American Camp Association. That means our sites and programs have been inspected and certified, and meet the highest standards. We are proud of what we do and have hired the best staff from all around the world.

Our overnight or sleep away summer camps offer activities in marine biology, SCUBA certifications, sailing, board sailing, standup paddle boarding, underwater photo, underwater video, marine aquarium keeping, snorkeling, ocean kayaking, seafood cookery, sail training, island exploration, astronomy, space exploration, physical science, rocket building and launching, robotics, mountain biking, rock climbing, sport climbing and good old fashioned summer camp fun.
